Indian envoy summons over World T20 permission denial

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Pakistan summoned Indian Deputy High Commissioner to lodge protest over Indian government’s refusal to grant permission to its diplomatic staffers to travel to Kolkata to watch World Cup T20 encounter.

India, yesterday, did not give travel consent to Pakistani diplomats to watch the T20 game between the neighbouring countries in Kolkata on March 19.

Pakistan conveyed to Deputy High Commissioner J P Singh that denial of travel permission is unpleasant, declaring the decision as “a violation of diplomatic norms”.
