LAHORE – Babar Azam has appreciated his replacement Kamran Ghulam after he smashed a century on his Test debut against England at Multan Cricket Stadium.
Ghulam completed his hundred in 192 ball on Day 1 of the second Test, becoming the 13th Pakistani player to score a century on Test debut.
He has joined Khalid Ibadullah, Javed Miandad, Saleem Malik, Mohmmad Wasim, Azhar Mahmood, Ali Naqvi, Younis Khan, Taufeeq Umar, Yasir Hameed, Fawad Alam, Umar Akmal and Abid Ali, who have also achieved the same milestone.
Babar Azam shared his reaction on Instagram story where he shared a couple of photos of Kamran Ghulam and wrote, “Well played Kamran!”
It is recalled that the uncapped player was included to the national team as replacement of Babar Azam, who was rested by the selection committee over his unimpressive performance.
