KARACHI – Gold reached another historic high on Wednesday after it registered significant gains in domestic market of Pakistan.
Data shared by All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association showed per tola gold price moved up by Rs2,200 to settle at Rs277,200.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold surged by Rs1,886 to reach Rs237,654.
The precious commodity also witnessed significant gains in the international market where per ounce price surged by $22 to settle at $2,675.
A day earlier, gold witnessed losses in domestic market of Pakistan in line with downward trend in international market.
Per tola gold price plunged by Rs700 to settle at Rs275,000 on Tuesday. Similarly, the price of 10-gram decreased by Rs600 to drop to Rs235,768.
