KARACHI – Gold continued to shatter records in domestic market of Pakistan on Thursday as demand for the commodity on rise amid wedding season in the country.
Data shared by All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association showed per tola gold price moved up by Rs700 to surge to Rs277,900.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold increased by Rs600 to settle at Rs238,254.
The precious commodity also registered upward trend in the international market where per ounce price moved up by $7 to reach $2,682.
A day earlier, per tola gold price moved up by Rs2,200 to settle at Rs277,200. Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold surged by Rs1,886 to reach Rs237,654.
