Imran s convoy attack: PTI, Ali Musa Gillani amicably settle dispute

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Ali Musa Gillani, the son of former premier Yousaf Raza Gillani have agreed to amicably settle the incident regarding firing on chairman Imran Khan’s convoy on Sunday.

The spokesperson of PTI, Fawad Chaudhry took to twitter and explained that as no party was intentionally targeted, so the ‘minor’ issue was resolved amicably.

On the other hand, Kasim Gillani, while quoting his brother Musa, accused of opening fire at one of the vehicles in the motorcade, stated that the application submitted to police was being withdrawn

It bears mentioning that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on Sunday claimed that one of the vehicles in the convoy of its chairman, Imran Khan, came under a gun attack by the guards of Ali Musa Gillani near Lahore.

On the other hand, Gillani alleged that a vehicle which was part of the motorcade rammed into his car.

“I launched a complaint about the incident soon after it happened, and police told me that the convoy of Imran Khan had passed from there,” Gillani said.

Fortunately, no one was hurt in the incident though Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Central Additional Secretary Information Faisal Javed was inside the vehicle that came under the attack.
