Taji Khokar’s house raided, 20 suspects held, arms seized

RAWALPINDI (Staff Report) – Security forces raided the ancestral home of Taji Khokhar in the airport area yesterday and arrested 20 suspects and seized arms and ammunition and narcotics from their possession.

According to a senior official, who wished to be named, the search operation was carried out by Rangers, police, the elite force and intelligence agencies in the wee hours.

Luxury cars and a pair of lions were also impounded by the authorities.

The suspects were shifted to the Koral Police Station for further investigation.

Taji Khokhar, who is the brother of former deputy speaker National Assembly Haji Nawaz Khokhar, is under arrest in a murder case and has been accused of occupying land of people after murdering them.
