LAHORE – Beaconhouse students prove themselves as the world’s finest once again with outstanding results in all major exams. The Class of 2018 stood out with a total 17,299 As in O and A-Level exams, the highest number across Pakistan. Beaconhouse proved itself as the leading IB school by surpassing the world average in both the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and the IB Middle Years Programme.
A number of Beaconhouse and TNS Beaconhouse students were ranked amongst the top 1% in the world in the final MYP eAssessments and amongst the top 4% in the world in the IBDP. BSS students were also toppers in both the IGCSE and Matriculation examinations. The results can be viewed at beaconhousetimes.net/results-2018.
In Beaconhouse Northern Region (BNR), 9 campuses offer the CAIE A Levels, with 615 A*s and As obtained by students in these schools. Meanwhile, 3,642 A*s and As were obtained by students in 21 campuses offering the CAIE O Level exams. In Beaconhouse Central Region (BCR), ten Beaconhouse campuses offer the CAIE A Level examinations and twenty-six campuses offer the CAIE O Level examinations. Out of these, a total of 6,262 A*s and As were recorded in O Level, while 1,015 A*s and As were recorded for A Level exams. 699 A*s and As were recorded in six campuses that offer A Level in the Beaconhouse Southern Region (BSR). Twelve campuses offer the O Level exam in BSR and the total number of A*s and As across the region was 5,066 this year.
Beaconhouse has been pioneers in introducing the International Baccalaureate in Pakistan. It is currently offering IBDP at TNS Beaconhouse and Beaconhouse College Campus Gulberg in Lahore, PECHS, and Defence Campus in Karachi and Beaconhouse Margalla Campus in Islamabad. The Beaconhouse College Campus Gulberg achieved the best IB result in Pakistan whereas Beaconhouse Margalla topped in Islamabad. PECHS attained outstanding IB results and highest in Karachi with a top score of 40. TNS Beaconhouse and Defence campus IB graduates received numerous acceptances and scholarships from prestigious national and international universities. TNS also topped the MYP in Pakistan and surpassed the world average by a large margin.
These results are an incredible feat and speak in volumes about the dedication of Beaconhouse faculty and staff, students and parent body.
