ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Friday expressed full confidence in the Supreme Court, besides resolving to accept any decision of the apex court in the Panama Papers case.
The prime minister and party leader reached the decision during a high-level meeting following the reservation of verdict by the apex court in the case, local media reported quoting the sources.
It has also been decided that all legal and constitutional options will be availed if the decision is announced against the prime minister.
The participants also decided that the incumbent government will complete its tenure and demands of resignation will not be bothered. No any way of agitation will be adopted in case of the unfavourable decision.
As the implementing bench of the Supreme Court has reserved verdict in Panam Papers case, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Friday called an important meeting of party leaders to discuss the post-verdict strategies.

Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, federal ministers and advisers to the prime ministers attended the meeting.
According to sources, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar did not attend the meeting as he was busy in routine work at Punjab House in Islamabad.
After hearing the arguments of parties concerned in the case, the three-member bench on Friday reserved the verdict remarking that matters regarding the disqualification of the PM would also be reviewed. The court would not step back after announcing the decision.
