It’s true that Bollywood stars have always shared a merry relationship with their fans – without fans, of course, there can be no stars. However, some fans take their love-hate relationships with their idols to unwarranted levels.
Ileana D’ Cruz, who is promoting her upcoming film Baadshaho, just recently fell victim to a case of fan abuse. Though the actress did not reveal much about the incident, she made the details public in an interview. The incident took place when her car was stuck in traffic in Mumbai on her way to a fashion show.
The actress claimed, “They started banging against the window, pressing themselves against the car, one of them even lying down on the top of the bonnet and laughing. I’ve been eve teased when I was younger, but I didn’t expect guys to misbehave to this level at this age.“
“They followed my car even after the signal turned green. It was like a power trip for them,” she further added.
Ileana lashed out in her posts on Twitter.
