Gold registers slight decline in Pakistan; check latest rates

KARACHI – Gold registered downward trend in domestic market of Pakistan on Monday after it closed at record high in previous business week.

Data shared by All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association showed per tola gold price decreased by Ry600 to settle at Rs271,900.

Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold plunged by Rs471 to close at Rs233,100.

The yellow metal also witnessed losses in the international market where per ounce price dropped by $5 to reach $2,617.

Meanwhile, silver price remained unchanged in domestic market as per tola rate stands at Rs2,950 and 10-gram is being sold for Rs2,529.14.

on Saturday, gold registered gains in domestic market of Pakistan to hit fresh high of Rs 272,500 amid rising global prices.

Similarly, the price of 10-gram also increased to reach Rs233,571.
