PESHAWAR (Staff Report) – More than two hundred eighty six thousand Temporarily Displaced Persons (TDPs) of FATA have so far returned to their native areas, after successful military operation against terrorists.
According to details issued by the FATA Disaster Management Authority, eighty-six thousand five hundred displaced people of Khyber Agency, seventy-eight thousand eight hundred of Bajaur and thirty-seven thousand dislocated people of North Waziristan Agency have returned to their homes.
Similarly, more than thirty-six thousand TDPs of Mohmand Agency, twenty thousand two hundred of Orakzai and sixteen thousand one hundred displaced persons of Kurram Agency returned to their native areas.
Federal Government has given thirty five thousand rupees cash assistance and six month ration to the families returning to their homes.
