PTI s mother Fauzia Kasuri joins PSP

KARACHI – The founding member of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Fauzia Kasuri has joined Pak Sarzameen Party, a day after she sent her resignation to Imran Khan.

Kasuri addressed a press conference alongside PSP chief, Mustafa Kamal, saying she could not become part of those parties which had robbed the country of its resources.

“In these dark times, Mustafa Kamal and Anees Qaimkhani were the brave ones who fought against terrorism and lies,” declared the politician.

The senior political figure explained that she had no personal enmity against Imran Khan, however, hastened to add that the elements which were to be held accountable were being roped in by PTI.

On the occasion, Kamal expressed that Fauzia’s inclusion confirms that party’s ideology was being endorsed.

Kasuri, who remain attached to PTI for 22 years, resigned from the party and shared a copy of her resignation addressed to PTI chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday.

“I have sent this message of resignation to Imran Khan and other leaders in the party a few minutes ago. A message to my supporters in and outside PTI will follow shortly, May Allah guide us all,” she tweeted.
