HANGU – A senior superintendent of police (SSP) operations and two other officials were martyred after their vehicle was targeted in a blast in Hangu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Reports said SSP Asad Zubair was on his way to inspect a checkpost when an improvised explosive device blew up near his vehicle, leaving him two other policemen dead on the spot.
Security officials have cordoned off the area while bodies have been shifted to a hospital.
