Ramiz Raja grills media persons over anti-Imran Khan programmes

LAHORE – Former cricketer Ramiz Raja on Friday slammed TV anchors for ‘showcasing opposition’s morbid views’ in their programmes.

The cricketer-turned-commentator took to Twitter and defended his 1992 world cup skipper on a recent surge in inflation and hike in petroleum prices after the dollar crossed the Rs140 mark.

“What’s gone wrong with our TV political shows and anchors? They have lost it-showcasing opposition’s morbid views who on their watch had facked up Pakistan,” Raja tweeted.

The 56-year-old continued by blaming people for the ‘price pang’ because they were the ones who voted previous governments into power in the last 10 years.

“If the public is feeling the “price pang” it bloody well deserves it for voting them in power for 10 yrs,” he continued in his tweet.

Currently, Imran Khan’s government is being questioned over unfulfilled promises, So, Ramiz’s support for PTI is need of the hour.

However, on this unusual Tweet, the supporters of the different political parties showed a mixed reaction to this development.
