VEHARI (Web Desk) – A convicted murderer has been hanged till his death early this morning at Vehari’s District Jail, local media on Tuesday.
Jail police said,the convicted murderer Munir Hussain killed two persons—his nephew and niece Wajid Hussain and Naheed Bibi on November 8, 2000 in the limits of Deenah police station.
District and Sessions judge Jhelum awarded death sentence to the culprit and imposed fine worth 0.2 million rupee, to be paid to the heirs of the deceased.
Later, the court issued black-warrants for him. The mercy appeal to the President was also rejected.
