ISLAMABAD – Maryam Nawaz, daughter of ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif, said on Friday that her father will make a stronger comeback and mark a resounding victory in 2018 elections.

She took to Twitter after the Supreme Court in benchmark decision disqualified elected Prime Minister Nawaz in Panama Papers case.

She said,”Another elected Prime Minister sent home, but only to see him return with greater force & support & soonest Insha’Allah,” besides asking the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz to “stay strong”.

Hoping for winning next general elections, Maryam tweeted, “Today will pave the way for Nawaz Sharif’s resounding victory in 2018. He will be unstoppable. Insha’Allah. Rok sakte ho to rok lo !”.

Tweeting pictures of a consultative post-Panama verdict meeting of PML-N heaed by Nawaz Sharif, she wrote that the party is united, more resolute and unfazed.

Maryam Nawaz while responding to a tweet of a supporter said that you did not need to worry as it did not happen for the first time, adding, “Every such act has made him stronger”.

On Friday, the Supreme Court of Pakistan disqualified Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for life for being dishonest to the nation, in a landmark decision in the Panamagate case.

The 5-o verdict was announced by a five-judge bench, headed by Justice Asif Saeed Khosa – the same judge who had commenced his dissenting note in the April 20 judgment with a quote from The Godfather, a novel by Mario Puzo about a mafia family in Italy. The verdict declared Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif ‘disqualified’ for not being honest to the nation.
