Downpour lashes Karachi for second day

KARACHI - Several civic issues have surfaced after rain continued to lash Karachi for the second day on Thursday, ARY News reported.

Water has accumulated on different main arteries and in several areas of the megapolis, while long-hour power outages have irked the citizens.

More than 80 electricity feeders got tripped as soon as rain started, plunging various areas into darkness. Due to improper drainage system, the staying water has damaged roads on many spots which resultantly disrupted traffic flow.
