Beyoncé’s new queen Nefertiti inspired collection is seen as cultural appropriation

Beyoncé has always admired the Egyptain culture and has shown her interest in the rich history as she even flaunted a Cleopatra inspired outfit on 2017 Grammys. Cleopatra and Nefertiti have been major inspiration for queen Bey. She collaborated her love for Nefertiti and launched a full collection inspired by her style and aura.

Collection of hoodies, croptops and shirts were launched on her official Beyoncé store and Nefertiti is all the collection has got!

However not everyone is happy with her collection as people think it’s cultural appropriation and are pointing her out for using “cultural symbolism” as aesthetics.
