President Donald Trump’s son Barron is reportedly traumatised by photos and video of Kathy Griffin holding what looked like Trump’s severed head.
“He’s 11. He doesn’t know who Kathy Griffin is and the head she was holding resembled his dad,” a source told TMZ.

Trump slammed Griffin, branding the comedian “sick” in a Tweet today and saying she “should be ashamed of herself” for the stunt.
He wrote: “Kathy Griffin should be ashamed of herself. My children, especially my 11-year-old son, Barron, are having a hard time with this. Sick!”
The comedian was filmed posing for the camera as she held up the gruesome prop, dripping with fake blood, TMZ reports.
The head in the photos – taken by famous snapper Tyler Shields – has the US President’s distinctive blonde hair.

As predicted, the release of the images sparked a massive backlash.

In a video posted to her Facebook account, Kathy said: “I sincerely apologise. I’m just now seeing the reaction of these images.
“I’m a comic – I crossed the line. I moved the line then I crossed it, and I went way too far.
“The image is too disturbing and I understand how it offends people. It wasn’t funny, I get it.
“I’ve made a lot of mistakes in my career, I will continue. I’m asking your forgiveness. Taking down the image, gonna ask the photographer to take down the image and I beg for your forgiveness.
“I went too far, I made a mistake and it was wrong.”
But some, including Trump’s son, have refused to accept Griffin’s apology.
Donald Trump Jnr tweeted today: “The #kathygriffin phony apology would be a lot easier to believe if there wasn’t a video of her mocking the response she knew was coming.”
