Teen sign-singing for deaf father will leave you teary-eyed

EDMONTON  – A young woman bringing her deaf father to a rock concert in Edmonton, Canada is the heart-warming video you need to watch on social media.

Karri Carberry, a 19 year-old teen is seen -signing lyrics for her dad at a rock concert. The video has got an amazing response, having been viewed more than 19 million times.

While everyone was looking at the stage, the woman was looking straight at her father knowing he could not hear the music without her support.

“So she sang them to him using sign language,” as recorded in the video clip.

“It was crowded and we were doing our thing and then there was a huge circle around us and people were high-fiving us and hugging us, people we didn’t even know, just really great vibes all around,” Karri shared with Canadian media.

“Just making eye contact, it was all about that moment.” She added.

There was an outpouring of love for the video on Facebook, where users from as far away as Mexico, Brazil and Argentina left emotional messages of approval.

Karri had invited her dad, who has been hearing impaired since birth, to the show. His hearing aids help, but his daughter made the experience even better.

“We never sign language in front of people like that,” Darrin continued sharing with the media.
