LAHORE – Discover D’Art Fest 2019 was spirited, spunky and gutty. Each time art and fashion intermingle, there is a phenomenal result produced by the extra-phenomenal combination. Mint PR & Mint Concept presented D’Art Fest 2019 which brought 25 renowned local and international artists under one platform. The fest was a first-of-its-kind fusion of street fashion and hip-hop culture. Through a fusion of music, art, and fashion presentations on a broader spectrum, this particular Sunday was fashionably pleasing.
D’Art Fest concentrated on promoting street art of the Mughal city Lahore and was hosted at Lahore Expo Centre.
Wardha Saleem and Fahad Hussayn were two established names that participated in festival. Hair & Make-up was done by the talented Saima Rashid Bargfrede.
Talented names such as the likes of Ahmer Farooq, Anusha Khalid, Faizan, Haider Ali, Kamil Rahim, Neil Uchong (SHADE), Obaid Ur Rahman, Safwan Subzwari & Marium Kamal, Sanki King, Shehzar Abro & Syed Safdar Ali were onboard with some empowering ideas.
Exclusive art and installations by Tapu Javeri and Suleman Faisal as well as acclaimed video works by Nida Ramzan and Sana Jafri were much appreciated and added the right amount of spark to the event.
“The Stomp Drummers Crazy Orchestra” and “Parkour Group” were promised to be present at the event performing. 2019 is definitely off to a positive and fashion-forward start.
Fahad Hussayn focused on what matters by the showcasing of ‘Nightmentia’ which focused on creating awareness regarding mental health. Events are mostly revolving around glamour, it is seldom that we see attention given to social topics. His idea is acknowledged as a much-appreciated initiative.
Wardha Saleem presented an exclusive collection ‘Aurat Raaj’ which paid homage to the strong women of Pakistan. The concept narrated tales of womanhood through its art and more importantly, through the confident women who walked the rampp with collective poise.

In a statement, show director Nubain Ali explained the purpose of D’Art Fest, “Discover aspires to redefine an extraordinary experience by bringing together influencers from creative arts and other various walks of life. The platform is meant to transcend borders by joining people together in their experience of discovering the world of arts, music, fashion, culture and more.”
