It is pertinent to mention that the ‘Citizen Portal’ got 4.5 rating out of 5 from the public, the premier observed, adding that the PCP stood at seventh highest number in the Google search category.
The app was developed in a record time of 45 days and launched on October 28, Prime Minister Imran said, the portal has resolved 250,000 complaints out of 420,000 with 55 percent satisfactory feedback from the public, he added.
Indonesia’s Qlue Smart City App claimed the top position, while the third position landed to an app from the United States.
The Citizen Portal app was selected among the top three apps out of 4,646 mobile apps from 87 countries. Prominent leaders from all around the world, including Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, attended the summit in Dubai.

The portal is available to citizens in the form of a cellphone app, but they can also approach the government via telephone, email or written letters.
Once complaints and suggestions are received, the Prime Minister Office oversees the “process of addressing the public complaints and implementation on recommendations”.
In October last year, premier Imran Khan inaugurated the Pakistan Citizen Portal (PCP) with an aim to timely address the problems of the people and get their feedback.
