KARACHI – Due to the absence of ocean breezes, the temperature in Karachi reached 36 degrees Celsius in the late afternoon.
The Department of Meteorology reports that the city’s highest temperature recorded on Tuesday was 36.1 degrees Celsius and the air’s relative humidity was 47%.
The weather is hot and dry in central and upper Sindh, where the temperature is expected to reach 44 degrees Celsius, according to the Meteorological Department.
The Meteorological Department predicts that in the next few days, the afternoon ocean breezes may stop, and Karachi would instead experience western winds from Balochistan.
