182 madrassas sealed for fanning extremism in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – The Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) have sealed 182 religious seminaries for fanning extremism.

As part of strategy to choke terror financing under National Action Plan (NAP), 126 accounts linked to proscribed organisations have been frozen.

The activities of these organisations are constantly being monitored and their activists are under surveillance. The government has codified the proscribed organisations.
