Pakistani boy shines at Global Quran Recitation Contest in Algeria

SWAT –  A 10-year-old boy from Pakistan’s northwestern region gained recognition by securing fourth place in the Mazamir Dawood International Quran Recitation Competition held in Algeria.

The event was organized by the Echorouk media channel, and included participants from over 15 countries. Muhammad Bashar’s outstanding performance earned him a prize of $1,500, underscoring the significant cultural and spiritual links between Pakistan and Algeria.

This annual competition celebrated the talents of young Quran reciters from across the globe.

Ministry of Religious Affairs and Endowments of Algeria hosted another major competition with the support of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
