LAHORE – The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has postponed the intermediate second annual examination of various subjects, scheduled for tomorrow, October 18, due to closure of public and private educational institutions.
The board has issued a notification, stating that papers scheduled to be conducted on Oct 18 both in the morning and evening sessions, have been postponed.
The papers of Physics, Outlines of Home Economics, Geography, Agriculture and Nursing have been postponed.
BISE Lahore added that next date for the subject papers will be notified and issued separately.
Earlier, the Punjab government has announced that all educational institutions in the province will remain closed tomorrow (Friday).
According to the notification, all public and private institutions will be closed on Friday. The holiday will apply to all government and private schools and colleges, and universities across the province.
