A gas pipeline on Quetta’s Western Bypass was destroyed in an explosion, leaving a significant portion of the city without gas supply.
According to the fire brigade in-charge, the explosion ignited a fire in the pipeline, which was promptly brought under control by emergency teams. Repair work has already commenced to restore the gas supply as soon as possible.
Law enforcement agencies have reached the site, and investigations are underway to determine the cause of the incident.
