Court grants police three day custody of Qandeel Baloch s murderer

MULTAN (Staff Report) – A local court on Sunday granted police a three-day custody of accused murderer of Qandeel Baloch, Muhammad Waseem.

According to media reports, Waseem was produced before the court of judicial magistrate amid high security arrangements.

On the occasion, police requested the court a physical remand of the suspect, at which, the judge directed officials to again produce Waseem before the court after three days.

Recording his statement with the court, accused Muhammad Waseem said that he does not want to acquire the services of any lawyer in the murder case.

Meanwhile, Qandeel Baloch has been laid to rest in her native village near DG Khan amid presence of her relatives and locals.

Earlier on Saturday, talking to newsmen after his arrest in DG Khan, Muhammad Waseem confessed to his crime and said that he had murder Qandeel Baloch for honour after her recent objectionable videos, mostly posted on Facebook.
