ISLAMABAD (APP) – Today (Monday) is the last date for filing of details of assets by political parties with the Election Commission of Pakistan, according to APP reports.
The Election Commission has notified that under Article of the Political Parties Order 2002, every political party is bound to submit a consolidated statement of accounts to the Election Commission within sixty days of the close of each financial year.
The Commission said parties failing to submit the details of income resources and assets’ details will not be able to contest elections.
