LAHORE (Web Desk) – World-famed American singer-songwriter Madonna has lauded Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy for her upcoming documentary on internet sensation Qandeel Baloch.
Madonna shared an Instagram post lauding Obaid Chinoy for her upcoming documentary “A Very Short Story”.
“Proud to narrate my friend #SharmeenObaidChinoy’s latest film about Qandeel Baloch, the Pakistani social media star who was murdered by her brother in an “honor killing,” the post said.
She also lauded the Pakistani government for closing a legal loophole that has long been exploited by culprits in the country to escape punishment after having murdered a loved one in the name of ‘honour’.
