LAHORE – After at least one year of their divorce, Reham Khan, the former wife of PTI chairman Imran Khan, has revealed the actual date of their marriage.
In an interview, the former BBC journalist disclosed that the actual date of their marriage was not Jan 8, 2015 but it was Oct 31, 2014 (Muharram 7).
She said that the ‘nikah’ ceremony held on Jan 8 2015 was just a photo session and she could not believe at that time that the news of their marriage would be concealed for such a longer duration of time.
Reham Khan said that the gift she received at the first anniversary of their marriage was divorce.
She disclosed that the news of their secret marriage was leaked by third party, Dunya News reported.
Mufti Saeed, nikah khwan of the marriage, had also confirmed that the actual date of their marriage was Muharram 7.
