ISLAMABAD – Two Austrians and one Chinese were among 47 passengers who were on board a PIA plane which crashed into a mountainous region near Abbottabad, authorities said on Thursday.
All the three foreigners are among the victims and were identified as Qiang Han, Herald Kessler and Herwig Eichelbenger.
“The deceased were working for an Austria-based firm Andritz”, the company spokesman said.
The Islamabad-bound PIA flight PK661 which took off from Chitral came down in Havelian town of Abbottabad district. None survived.
