ISLAMABAD – The Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan has said that the elections of local bodies in AJK would be held within few months.
He was talking to the federal minister for Planning and Development and Deputy Chairman Planning Commission Ahsan Iqbal and later during the meeting with a delegation of his party workers here on Sunday.
During the meeting, the on going development projects in AJK, inclusion of AJK in CPEC, implementation on the projects approved by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif during his last visit to Muzaffarabad were came under discussion.
Farooq Haider said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was taking a keen interest in the development of AJK and his team was fully involved in realizing the vision of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif into reality in Azad Kashmir, Farooq Haider said.
AJK Prime Minister said that development should be sighted on ground., he asked PML worker to complete preparation for upcoming local elections, he.
He said that family courts have been set up in five districts of AJK and further courts would also be set up in others districts.
