ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has reiterated that all perpetrators of blasphemous contents will be brought to justice without any exception, as love and appreciation for the Prophet (PBUH) is a part of our faith, reported Radio Pakistan.
The Prime Minister stated this during a meeting with Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Wednesday.
The minister briefed the premier about his meeting with Secretary General of the Organistion of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) regarding the blasphemous material which was being published on social media.
Nawaz Sharif appreciated the proposal presented by the interior minister to the OIC Secretary General to give a unanimous strong message of the Muslim Ummah on blasphemous content.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister also constituted a committee headed by Minister for Defense Production and comprising of Ministers for Interior and Finance on the matter of incentive package for POF employees and asked to present final recommendations within one week.
