Famous Pakistani actress, Sanam Saeed, lost her mother Parween Mody Saeed to a battle with cancer early on Monday morning, the 8th of May 2017.
Sanam took to her Instagram with a collage of her mother’s pictures along with the caption “Ma 1954-2017”.
Mrs. Saeed’s nephew, Nasr Saeed shared a eulogy with us:
“To my Dearest Chachi One only feels something is missing when someone passes away. We tend to take things for granted when people are alive and well, and with us at our disposal. Our very own Parween Mody Saeed, wife and Mother of 3, Chachi, Phuppo, Mumaani and a lot more to numerous people left us this early Monday morn. I was privileged to have spent whatever time I had with her, in her illness and in health. A larger than life character who always spoke her mind and never for once minced her words. In this hypocritical world, she stood a world apart. To the bravest woman, I’ve known, gone but never shall be forgotten. May Allah SWT bless her soul as she touched so many on this earthly abode. Allah Hafiz Chachi.”
This indeed has been a heartbreaking incident for us. Our deepest condolences with Sanam and the entire family for their loss.
