High Stakes Encounter

The power packed Indian team overpowered Green shirts on Sunday in their first encounter at Edgbaston by 124 runs.

India came out as the superior side, defeating Pakistan in a match marred by rain and sloppy fielding.

Pakistan after winning the toss invited its arch-rival to bat first after which it found no end to their aggression as they set a mammoth 320 runs target.

Visibly scared over the giant target, Pakistan started off and lost early wickets and subsequently registered another defeat aginst India after getting bowled out for a mere 164 runs in just 34 overs.
