The Ishaqzaade couple Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor are to be re-united for a Dibakar Banerjee film called Sandeep and Pinky Faraar, after five whole years! The story of the film revolves around two people who show two different sides of India, and this time it’s not ‘love’ but ‘hatred’ that will link them together.
“This feels like my first film, again. I’ve had to unlearn everything I know to tell this story about a man and a woman who can’t stand each other but can’t survive without each other,” said director Dibaker Banerjee.
Arjun Kapoor expressed his excitement saying, “It feels great to be back home at YRF working with Adi sir and Parineeti, my most amazing and first ever co-actor. Dibakar Banerjee is a name synonymous with being the torchbearer of evolving new age cinema that engages and entertains. I can’t wait to work under his tutelage and vision.“
Parineeti Chopra has been working on Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal 4 and is very excited to work with Dibakar Banerjee again. “His films are so different and always make an impact. I am so ready to bite my teeth into this character and give the audience something intense,” she exclaimed.
We just CAN’T wait for this lovely duo to shine on the big screen again! Will this have the potential to turn out better than ‘Ishaqzaade?’
