The teaser for Punjab Nahi Jaungi had us all confused in the beginning but after the release of its trailer it seems like it going to the big screens may not be such a bad idea!
The trailer has had our faith restored in good movies coming our way, and we must say that looks like it is going to be another blockbuster along the likes of JPNA. The trailer shows amazing camera work along with good script and opens up to the rom-com melodrama with “When desi meets vilayti,” starring Humayun Saeed, Mehwish Hayat and Urwa Hocane.

The film revolves around a young man from a rich family in Faisalabad (a role played by Humayun Saeed), the hottest eligible bachelor in town who has earned the title of the first young lad in the family to have completed his matriculation.
Saeed makes for a pretty slick gabru jawaan and as the movie unravels Saeed’s character seems to have fallen for a confident, self-aware woman from urban Karachi (essayed by Mehwish Hayat).
Urwa Hocane plays the young and attractive Punjabi kuri, in utter awe of Saeed’s unabashed romantic moves.
Amounting to a very Sanja Leela Bhansali feel, the movie makes ample use of bright colors, vibrant lights and a rich and luscious emotive set ringing loud beats of the dhol against the backdrop of Punjab’s lush green pind.
Fans can’t seem to wait for the movie as the trailer promises some crazy laughter moments as well as aspects of skyrocketing romance and action. With the fun to watch the trailer, we’re sure you’ll be left feeling all mushy and warm on the inside!
