Sheikh Rashid says PM Nawaz digging his own political grave

ISLAMABAD – Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid predicting “game is over” for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that prime minister was “digging his own political grave” by not resigning.

Talking to media prior to the start of court proceedings in Panama Papers case outside the Supreme Court, Rashid said that those who are advising the prime minister not to resign actually want to ruin his political career.

Referring to the arguments given by PM’s counsel Khawaja Harris on Tuesday against the JIT report, AML leader said the “game is over” after yesterday’s arguments.

Harris has accepted before the court that PM had received an aqama for UAE and remained chairman of FZE Capital till 2014, Rashid highlighted.

He further said that those slamming the JIT are actually criticising the apex court, adding that there is no other option except giving resignation.
