SRINAGAR – Indian troops in their continued acts of state terrorism martyred thirty seven Kashmiris during August 2017.
According to data issued by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service, today, seven of those martyred including three young boys were killed in fake encounters.
These killings rendered four women widowed and two children orphaned. During the period, two hundred sixty one people were injured when Indian troops and police personnel used brute force on peaceful protesters while one hundred fifteen persons including Hurriyet leaders and activists were arrested.
The troops also destroyed and damaged twenty seven houses and structures and disgraced six women during siege and search operations in the month.-Online
