GUWAHATI – A rock was apparently thrown at the bus carrying Australian Cricket team as they were returning to their hotel after defeating the host Indian side in the second T20 match on Tuesday.
Opener Aaron Finch tweeted out an image showing the shattered window of the bus. Fortunately, no one was occupying the seat next to the window.

“Pretty scary having a rock thrown through the team bus window on the way back to the hotel!!,” said Finch in his tweet.
The incident took place as the tourist side was returning from the Barsapara Stadium to the team hotel in Guwahati.
The BCCI, ICC or Cricket Australia are yet to respond to the incident.
The match was also the first international fixture to be held at Guwahati’s Barsapara stadium and the first international cricket match in the city in seven years.
Earlier, Australia overpowered the Indian side by 8 wickets as they restricted them to 118 runs and managed to match the total in fifteen overs.
The victory was also Australia’s first over India in eight T20 Internationals. The series decider will be played in Hyderabad on Friday.
