LAHORE – The three day festival celebrated the love of life that people have with cooking master-pieces and fun activities. Along with that, it also offered the power houses of music personnel of the country to the audience.

Coke Food Festival had a list of live music performances lined up for all three days. These included Quadrum, Khumariyaan, Farhad Humayun & Overload, Nabeel Shaukat, Strings, Ali Sethi, Horya Asmat, Malaika Faisal, Waheed Khan, Damia Farooq, Sahara UK and Asim Azhar. These power packed performances redefined the vibe of the event. Khumariyaan with their instrumental forte started the last evening of the event and within a few seconds, the energy went on to another level of excellency and perfection. Lahore has danced on the lyrics but ‘Kashmir’ made the people believe in a musical love story.
After a mesmerizing performance by Khumariyaan, Ali Sethi was applauded for his presence. From the soulful track Aaqa to a beautiful coke studio song Simmi; the final evening could not get any better.

Music lovers had a feeling of nostalgia when Strings performed after four years on stage. The internationally acclaimed Pakistani pop rock band went on stage and lit the hearts of people with their ever powerful vocals. Their songs refreshed everyone’s musical memory and people singing along was a vision to remember for the years to come. ‘Koi Anay wala hai’ felt like an anticipation of them coming back to their fans and stayed there taking no leave. The favourite band brought the house down with their popular numbers and people never wanted them to stop.
After spending their time producing the master pieces of Coke Studio, Strings announced their departure from the platform on their social media earlier.

The second season of Coca Cola Food Festival will be expanding across five cities, starting from Lahore. 15000 people from Lahore gathered to witness the festivity of the event. What a start to the winter season!
