BEIJING – A Mehfil-e-Milad was held at the Embassy of Pakistan, Beijing on Thursday to celebrate the birth of the Holy Prophet, Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him).
The wife of Ambassador of Pakistan and Principal of Pakistan Embassy College Beijing, welcomed the guests comprising of Pakistani community residing in Beijing.
The Principal highlighted the spiritual significance of the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal when the world was blessed with the birth of holy Prophet.
She eulogized the Prophet as embodiment of respect, tolerance and love to all mankind and elaborated how the Prophet set an unprecedented example of peaceful co-existence with everyone by practicing what he preached.
Students of Pakistan Embassy College Beijing delivered speeches on various aspects of the Prophet’s life.
The participants paid homage by reciting Naats and Durood-o-Salaam to mark the birthday of last peophet which falls on 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal.
