MUMBAI – Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and director Ayan Mukerji have begun the new year by kick-starting the preparations for the fantasy adventure film, Brahmastra in Israel’s Tel-Aviv.
Filmmaker Karan Johar took to Twitter to post a picture of Alia with co-star Ranbir and director Ayan.

The film will see Ranbir playing a character with special powers.
Brahmastra marks Karan Johar’s fourth collaboration with Ranbir and Ayan’s third with the actor. Previously, Ranbir has headlined the cast of Karan-directed Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Ayan-directed Wake Up Sid and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani – all films produced by Dharma Productions.
Brahmastra, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan, is slated to release on August 15, 2019.
