MUMBAI – Often slammed for her bold (and beautiful) pictures on social media, being slut shamed is something that Bollywood actress Esha Gupta would have been familiar by now. The question that is of concern though is, would people ever stop the hatred?
The actress recently attended Brand Vision Summit, which was held in Mumbai on Tuesday. Esha shared pictures on her Instagram, wearing a gorgeous Tanieya Khanuja gown accessorizing her look with diamond jewellery.

As usual, the comments complimenting her beautiful look were outweighed by troll calling her ‘ugly’, slut shaming her for showing ‘too much skin’ and some even did not hesitate to post crass comments on her breasts.
The level of trolling has hit a new low as people do not once think about posting such distasteful remarks on celebrities’ social media.
Esha had earlier said in a statement, “Trollers are basically people who have literally nothing better going on for themselves. So, they get online and start pulling down others who are actually trying to make a difference. Their trolls are not always restricted only to celebrities.”
“If I’m bothered by a nobody’s opinion about my morals, it will be my fault. I believe if we are blessed enough by God to get a name and a platform where what we say will be heard, then it should be used to say things which matter, not just for promoting films. Everyone has the right to an opinion, but trollers will troll on anything. I just wish they get a job or have goals in life,” she added.
