It has been predicted many times before that the Stark home may fall (or to be more precise) be burnt to the ground! However, this video may finally be the inevitable evidence that Winterfell may be no more.
So what are the facts now? For one thing if the mighty home of the House of Stark is up in flames, it is safe to say that nothing and no one is safe in the final season! Although the flames in the video appear to be normal, lets not blame the ‘Mad-Queen’ or her dragons just yet as they might well be Viserion’s blue ones which will obviously be added only through post-production.
In an interview by the Radio Times, Maise Williams had this to say,“It’s either going to be everything that everyone dreamed of, or it’s gonna be disappointing,” according to the youngest Stark sibling. “It depends which side of the fence you’re going to sit on. I think no matter what you do there’s definitely going to be that divide. It depends on what people want from the final season. I love it, but I don’t know. You never know.”
“It was heartbreaking and the end of an era,” said Peter Dinklage, who plays Tyrion Lannister in a comment to the fan site Watchers on the Wall. He further added, “Everybody has to wait just like everybody else — family, friends. We live in a world of spoilers and we keep it quiet. We’re really good at this point.”
