LAHORE (Staff Report) – In a bizarre development during a gang rape case, a Wazirabad court validated the marriage of victim with one of the accused, a Pakistani TV channel reported the other day.
Zeeshan, the accused, who is a resident of Varpal Chattha, was booked among others in a gang rape case by Ahmad Nagar police. Even as the court started its proceedings, a bond started to develop between the victim girl and Zeeshan.
Before the additional session judge reserves his verdict, the girl, unnamed for reason, asserted that she wanted to marry Zeeshan. The court found it a positive development and arranged the marriage at the lock-ups.
Flanked by police and court officials, the girl happily accepted Zeeshan as his life partner. Sweets were also distributed among the officials and inmates.
