Celebrity death hoax: Baywatch star Pamela Anderson not dead

LOS ANGELES – In a hoax, a fake news website claiming to be ABC News reported Baywatch Star, Pamela Anderson, dead. The news said that the actress was suffering from pneumonia and took her last breath at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

The report presented read as: “At 8:00 am on March 12, the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to “a medical request” at the Los Angeles home of Anderson. She had apparently collapsed in a bathroom. Firefighters attended to Anderson on the scene before transporting her to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she was admitted with complications attributed to Hepatitis C. According to Chief Coroner Jonathan Lucas M.D., during the course of her treatment, Anderson developed pneumonia over the following days and died at 10:04 this morning after going into cardiac arrest.”

While the news sent the fans into a frenzy, some were quick to judge it as a hoax. While Pamela Anderson hasn’t officially reacted to the news, her social media profile has been active showing that the actress is alive and well.

Celebrity death hoaxes are becoming quite common these days. Just recently, legendary actor Sylvester Stallone was pronounced dead in a fake news, sending the social media into mourning.
