Priyanka Chopra faces legal notice in Mumbai due to unlawful construction

LAHORE – Priyanka Chopra manages to stay in the limelight for her love life, career and mostly other controversies. The latest is that she has been issued a legal notice due to unlawful construction in Mumbai. Bombay Municipal Corporation (BMC) has objected the construction at a commercial site that she intended to be her office along with another commercial ground that has been rented out by her at Oshiwara, West of Andheri in Mumbai.

According to the municipal body five complaints were lodged against the actor by visitors at the Charisma Beauty Spa and Salon, including a municipal cooperator.  They have alleged that illegal alterations have been made inside the spa which includes unauthorised mezzanine flooring. The alterations have been confirmed when checked by BMC.

“We earlier wrote, asking them to regularise the unauthorised changes after paying the penalty and remove the other illegal changes which cannot be approved,” said senior BMC officials.

They added that Priyanka did not deal with the complaint promptly. A legal notice has been issued as a consequence.
