UFA/RUSSIA (Staff Report) – Bilateral meeting between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi was held in Russia today.
The meeting took place on the sideline of BRICS Summit Russia Ufa 2015, which last for almost an hour.
The two leaders had an informal meeting at a dinner hosted by Russian President Vladimir Putin last night.
Meanwhile, the US has welcomed the Modi-Sharif meeting, saying tension between the two countries is not in anyone’s interest.
Adviser to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz is also present in the meeting.
